Tiny Planet Noir

#TinyPlanet #Noir, shot with a #Xiaomi #MiSphere #360 camera and then run through #Apple #Clips to get the pen and ink look shown. We used the #Ricoh #Theta Video + app to actually create the #TinyPlanet from footage of me walking around here in #Gravesend #NY.

Hope you enjoy it.

Photo's , can you trust your eyes?

Having a discussion on one of the forums and folks showing a nice picture which may or may not have a spirit visible in it. Then there's the "red eyes" in the forest discussion. I mentioned that photographers have been plagued by this red eye a long time stat it may simply be light reflecting off the eyes. I also suggested that the spirit image is somewhat easily faked. Especially when the entity is off in the distance and the quality is not so great. I've been a photographer and filmmaker a lot longer than I've been doing Paranormal Investigation. I try to keep in mind the things I've learned over the years and not immediately conclude things are Paranormal. I'll leave you with an image to look at. Not from the discussion, it's one of mine.

Greenwood Cemetery

Just took a stroll by Greenwood Cemetery supposedly a haunted location here in beautiful Brooklyn New York whether it is or it is not it is a wonderful wonderful place to visit with lots and lots of famous folks buried there they give tours I'm not sure if they give permission to ghost hunt in the evening more than likely you would have to do so from outside the gates.

Mortal Kombat X for iPad First Look at Mad Mohawk Gaming

Tonight we are taking a first look at Mortal Kombat X for the iPad. The graphics look incredible, leaps and bounds ahead of what I remember on the old Sega Genesis system that I played this on last. The opening video and the initial game play is quite promising. Tho the iPad mini original generation I have is a bit underpowered for this game so keep that in mind if you have an older iPad or iPhone. Tried to Play Jurassic World on this first generation iPad mini and it wouldn't even run.

19" Fluorescent Ring Light

Taking a look at a generic 19" Ring light that uses a 5600 Degree Kelvin bulb rated at 75 wattsIt came with a nice diffuser that is attached to the ring via velcro and it throws a generous amount of light. The main section of the video was shot with the Ring Light on Full Power, about 4 feet from the subject, I used a 28-70mm F2.8 wide open at F2.8 and focal length of 50mm, Shutter speed of 1/50 and ASA/ISO 250. I also use a couple of non traditional lights during this video both with the ring light and by itself . I used my Rode SmartLav+ plugged into an adapter then directly into the Sony A7 and a Sigma 60mm F2.8 Art Lens in Full Frame mode hence the slight vignette in the corners. My choice of hats was unfortunate as here and there in the video you get an eye full of moire. While this is much more powerful than the Ring48 it's also NOT something you can use without power , better suited to use in the studio whereas the BestLight Ring48 can be run off 2 AA batteries. Don't forget to enter our contest announced recently and ending the end of May 2015. Good Luck
