Modal Skulpt Tiny Powerful Synth

The #Modal #Skulpt sounds GREAT but having to set MIDI filtering messages via app is a bit of a PITA. Drove me crazy why no notes were playing. The previous owner must have set to filter them out. If using USB MIDI it worked fine. Other than that minor issue it’s a winner. If Modal drops price a bit Korg will have a BIG little competitor as it has MIDI in and out as well as USB MIDI, sync in and out, decent sized knobs, 4 voices and ability to #polychain 4 Skulpt’s together without requiring any special cabling.

Join the Monsters Union

Join the Monsters Union just fooling around a little with my iPhone SE and the Moondog Labs Anamorphic lens and of course the silly mask and one of my trusty Pork Pie Hats from Epoch Hats in NYC. We used a Rode SmartLav + plugged directly into the phone for audio capture. I probably should have grabbed a light when I did this instead of relying on Ambient Light but I heard those pesky villagers Coming so had to make this quick :)

Yay Royalties!

 It appears our early retirement is assured!  We got our first royalty payment from Amazon this morning ,  The huge sum of four................ Wait for it ............. Cents for the month of May. Woohoo ! But seriously having shorts and films on Amazon actually seems lucrative. We seem to be making much more money per documentary, short film , how to etc  then we make with Google's Adsense.  Which is nothing to sneeze at,  so it's a great time to be a content creator and the 1-2 punch of Google AdSense and Amazon Royalties  you can make a living. It's now August and we've made a substantially higher amount of royalties then in May, thankfully it's hundreds of times what it was in May.  Yes Amazon is much more difficult to deal with, in fact recently we had a dilemma with several videos  regarding the cover art which hopefully has been straightened out finally. This will be a far cry from the one short we had there back in the May. Have a great day thanks for reading hope to see you again soon.

iPhone 7 Missing a Headphone Jack DON'T PANIC! Well using inexpensive goodies like a lightning to female USB adapter and a Gaming headset with built in DAC can alleviate your anxiety. The Sony Silver Wired Headset for PlayStation 4 works great! The DAC is not hard wired in so you can use ANY 3.5mm headphone or earbud you like. Shot in lovely 4K on my iPhone SE. Having a hard time finding the Audio-Technica DAC , it's been at least a year since I've seen it on Amazon so may be discontinued :( Thanks for visiting!
