Fun with Baritone Sax in iFretless on iOS just having a little fun in an outstanding app on iPad. I LOVE the iFretless apps fo use with my Roland Aerophone tho not actually using it for this. I just was noodling around using the onscreen interface. At some point I’ll grab the SWAM Sax to compare it but I’m stoked by the quality of this.

Vintage Drum Machines in GarageBand

Soooo I see that GarageBand now has Vintage Drum Machines added to it. How do these virtual Drum machines compare to “The Real Deal” Hardware ? Do they sound as good ? I’ll be experimenting this week to try to decide myself but would love to hear YOUR thoughts on it too.

235° fisheye lens shenanigans 4K

235° fisheye lens shenanigans 4K In VR land as we fake 360° footage footage using a 235° fisheye lens on an iPhone SE. We then took this footage and loaded it into a two to one aspect ratio timeline in LumaFusion and used it’s 360° mono output mode. I’m not sure that this was successful but the Facebook upload worked flawlessly so I’m hoping that the YouTube upload will equally be quite functional please give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you’re not already a subscriber thanks for watching.

Join the Monsters Union

Join the Monsters Union just fooling around a little with my iPhone SE and the Moondog Labs Anamorphic lens and of course the silly mask and one of my trusty Pork Pie Hats from Epoch Hats in NYC. We used a Rode SmartLav + plugged directly into the phone for audio capture. I probably should have grabbed a light when I did this instead of relying on Ambient Light but I heard those pesky villagers Coming so had to make this quick :)

Pinnacle Studio Pro for IOS

Finally testing out Pinnacle Studio Pro on my iPad Pro ..... Huzzah I can put titles where I want them! And change size and color.

Not as happy that I can only composite 1 layer tho but its still worlds ahead of iMovie just for its Titling capabilities.

Novation Launchpad

Tried out Notation Launchpad last night , created a little ditty and used the upload to YouTube and of course got hit with a Content I'd notice. How absurd. Seems incredibly unlikely with all the options and various sounds that someone has created something that is exactly the same. Oh well. That video is now gone. Useful tool crippled by automation.

There's a bit of a novel method for firing your ranged weapons, I guess to make iot more "realistic" as you can't just TWITCH the Trigger to fire.Not sure if I like it or not but the Graphics are gorgeous. Real Racing 3 First Look at Mad Mohawk Gaming simple game to get into yet has a high replay value as you race online or offline against strangers friends and Artificial Intelligence Racers. Progress further and further and get better and better cars to race with. Some of the cars are difficult to attain without spending real money but if you are patient and grind you can eventually do it. My only gripe with the game is the LOW payouts for winning some of the races. You have to repair damage to your car, rebuild engines, upgrade cars. You can do custom paint schemes , this is a very large and feature rich game , more impressive still when you realize that it's FREE tho there is in game purchases that can be done. Dead Trigger 2 First Look at Mad Mohawk Gaming the sequel to Dead Trigger, in the opening scenes of the game we see a several story tall ZOMBIE, Not something I'd like to come against in the real world but fun to battle in the gaming world. Similar controls, perhaps a bit better graphics make this another winner to me. Fun, easy to get into.Probably not a good fit for younger players as the Zombie's are a bit gruesome.
