Fun with Baritone Sax in iFretless on iOS just having a little fun in an outstanding app on iPad. I LOVE the iFretless apps fo use with my Roland Aerophone tho not actually using it for this. I just was noodling around using the onscreen interface. At some point I’ll grab the SWAM Sax to compare it but I’m stoked by the quality of this.

Vintage Drum Machines in GarageBand

Soooo I see that GarageBand now has Vintage Drum Machines added to it. How do these virtual Drum machines compare to “The Real Deal” Hardware ? Do they sound as good ? I’ll be experimenting this week to try to decide myself but would love to hear YOUR thoughts on it too.

#TinyPlanet #Noir, shot with a #Xiaomi #MiSphere #360 camera and then run through #Apple #Clips to get the pen and ink look shown. We used the #Ricoh #Theta Video + app to actually create the #TinyPlanet from footage of me walking around here in #Gravesend #NY.

235° fisheye lens shenanigans 4K In VR land as we fake 360° footage footage using a 235° fisheye lens on an iPhone SE. We then took this footage and loaded it into a two to one aspect ratio timeline in LumaFusion and used it’s 360° mono output mode. I’m not sure that this was successful but the Facebook upload worked flawlessly so I’m hoping that the YouTube upload will equally be quite functional please give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you’re not already a subscriber thanks for watching.

I ADORE Grenade Launchers, absolutely devastating tho SLOW . I also like the Black Hole Generator a fair bit as well as the Stryker's Specialty Gun that fires Black Holes. Having fun in Assetto Corsa a true Racing Simulator on the PS4. Best played with a wheel like the Thrustmaster T300 RS, I use Logitech G27 Pedals and achieve this by using the RicmoTech adapter to let me hook the pedals to the Thrustmaster wheel.

VR Assetto Corsa Abarth 500 5 laps at Brands Hatch, earlier today we cut down the length of the Pedal board from our Tea Table Wheel Stand. We now can fit a decent chair behind it to race comfortably with. This is the race we live streamed earlier with Wirecast Go on our iPhone. Much easier to see the action in this version. View on a 3D TV that supports side by side 3D, Google Cardboard or Dream, Samsung Gear VR, Occulus, HTC Vive etc.

Lightweight 4K Vlog & YouTube setup 2016

Lightweight 4K Vlog & YouTube setup 2016 once again we are going to use the lovely Panasonic LX100 with its super sharp Leica 24-70mm F1.7 equivelant lens as the video capture device as it will shoot Ultra High Def 3840*2160 resolution footage. Not quite true 4K but close enough for the majority of us. We also show off the inexpensive Albinar combination Pistol grip and table top tripod. For audio capture we use the much smaller Tascam DR22WL which has built in stereo microphones. Much smaller and lighter setup than our previous tho less versatile in some ways since it lacks XLR inputs. Shot on the Panasonic DMC-G7 and edited on Apple iPadPro. Pinnacle Studio Pro for IOS

Finally testing out Pinnacle Studio Pro on my iPad Pro ..... Huzzah I can put titles where I want them! And change size and color.

Not as happy that I can only composite 1 layer tho but its still worlds ahead of iMovie just for its Titling capabilities.

Rough cut 4k video on an iPad Pro

Any of you folks doing basic editing on an iPad in iMovie or Pinnacle Studio? Miss my iPad , was reading the iPad Pro can handle 3 streams of 4k at the same time in iMovie. Had planned to wait for the iPad Pro Mini as I didn't really want the 12.9" behemoth version but then found out the 12.9" has 4 gigs of RAM but the 9.7" coming out the 31st will only have 2gigs of RAM. Soooooo I'll soon be testing how well it works. Couple hundred more than I'd normally spend on an iPad but its 128 gig and huge. If it allows me to do rough cuts on the road it'll be worth it to me.

I did see the guys from Mac break Studios show a workflow from iPad to desktop FCPX so should be interesting.
