Trying out Vid.Me

 Good evening everyone today with trying out something new, at least it's new to us just heard about vid.me  and giving it a shot. We shot a gameplay video of call of duty infinite warfare on the precinct map using the war fighter and on the front line mode. We then recorded voice over on an iPad Pro through pinnacle pro studio  as well as did some slow-motion cuts to give it a little bit more interest and then simply uploaded the result. I don't know if it's like YouTube and I need to wait a bit for them to finish fully processing the video but after it was done uploading I watched it and the footage looked a bit muddy. Hopefully after it's had time to fully process the footage  that will clear up. So what do you think is Vid.me a viable  distribution system? Currently they do not have a way to monetize the videos that you upload there. This is a shame and I hope it changes in the near future  I do not believe that the issues that YouTube has is enough to push people to Vid.me  but it may make a nice addition to YouTube just as Amazons video direct is another addition. So what do you think did you even know about this new service? Strange days are coming

Well it seems strange days are upon us. I was just reading a thread on a forum about the Amazon Alexa and her artificial intelligence. In this thread several gentlemen were lamenting that their partners, girlfriends , wives or just significant other are jealous of their Amazon Alexa.  It's a shame that so many are so terrified and so broken that previous relationships must've left them shellshocked courtesy of cheating lying and other fun things such as that,  that they are jealous of the voice coming out of a inanimate object. Then again it shouldn't be a surprise I guess since on a popular sitcom a few years ago one of the main characters fell in love with Siri. Strange days are certainly coming. Will Amazon eventually come out with the line of adult toys with Siri built-in  and of course the ladies line with I assume someone named Alex as the respondent. Have these people caught their partners masturbating while having Alexa read them erotica ?  That is something that the Alexa can do and I wonder if there is a literotica skill yet.  I can see it now the all new magic mirror from Amazon "Alex how do I look?"  And the disembodied Alex voice response you are truly the fairest in the land. Yes of course I'm joking but it's still still so sad that people are so terrified of a voice. What do you guys think ? I love JD motorcycles

It's no secret I'm a huge fan of the old JD Motorcycles, they are sleek little rockets on 2 wheels. They are also a small fortune to own, hard to get parts for and not exactly an everyday kind of ride. I've ALWAYS wanted one but the cons outweigh my lust. Enter the Italjet Ascot , an Electric Bicycle that has the looks of the old JD's. Oh the pain when I saw the Top speed of a paltry 15 MPH coupled with a price tag around $5000. It's close enough in looks to scratch my itch but come on 15 MPH???? Now there's the Italjet Bulldozer that will do 70 MPH but it's not available yet and the price will likely cause my head to explode. Short of custom rigging a Frame I think my lust shall remain unabated for the time being. Perhaps a nice electric Lowrider could keep my lust at bay a while.......

Hooked on GTA V and it's Biker Community

I've gotten hooked on Grand Theft Auto 5 again after reading about it's lovely Rockstar Editor and Director Modes and all the fantastic content for online gameplay that's been added since I used to play it on the Playstation 3. It even seems to look alot better on the PS4. The Biker Community there is awesome and the latest update was Biker Themed. Go fire it up if you still have it on the shelf and get online for new mayhem and mischief or go buy a new copy if I've piqued your interest. I bought a new PS4 copy for $29.99 not long ago.

GTA V Biker DLC drops tomorrow

Well the Biker community in Grand Theft Auto will be buzzing tomorrow once Rockstar drops the new Biker themed DLC on us. Should add even more playability to an already great game. Back in GTA V .... Biker DLC coming

Liked the old Grand Theft Auto but had gotten my fill back on PS3. Had no plans to buy for PS4 at ..... then heard about the Low Rider DLC, then the Director and Editor modes, then holy moly there's a Biker DLC coming October 4 and it gets better. GTA V was on sale for $29.95 so needless to say I jumped in feet first. Having a blast shooting pictures and videos in world , jacking bikes and cars and general mayhem. Fun times ahead...... purchaseable with only in game money!   You have to love the Rockstar idea

Well after seeing a bunch of Youtubers talk about having monetization yanked on their videos on YouTube for not meeting "advertiser friendliness standards" I learned of another social media site called minds.com . Join the Monsters Union just fooling around a little with my iPhone SE and the Moondog Labs Anamorphic lens and of course the silly mask and one of my trusty Pork Pie Hats from Epoch Hats in NYC. We used a Rode SmartLav + plugged directly into the phone for audio capture. I probably should have grabbed a light when I did this instead of relying on Ambient Light but I heard those pesky villagers Coming so had to make this quick :)

Sniping on Combine with Slo Mo TDM

Sniping on Combine with Slo Mo TDM Combine is definitely one of my favorite maps. The Commentary all recorded after the gameplay which I recorded from Black Ops III Theatre mode which lets you customize camera angles and such. A Big boon for gameplay videos in my opinion. Yay Royalties!

 It appears our early retirement is assured!  We got our first royalty payment from Amazon this morning ,  The huge sum of four................ Wait for it ............. Cents for the month of May. Woohoo ! But seriously having shorts and films on Amazon actually seems lucrative. We seem to be making much more money per documentary, short film , how to etc  then we make with Google's Adsense.  Which is nothing to sneeze at,  so it's a great time to be a content creator and the 1-2 punch of Google AdSense and Amazon Royalties  you can make a living. It's now August and we've made a substantially higher amount of royalties then in May, thankfully it's hundreds of times what it was in May.  Yes Amazon is much more difficult to deal with, in fact recently we had a dilemma with several videos  regarding the cover art which hopefully has been straightened out finally. iPhone case cage accessory rant perplexing that most metal cases/cages for cellphones cost 2-3 or even 4 times as much as Metal cage for GoPro's or even Sony A7 . The only somewhat affordable priced one I see is the IOGrapher but that's mainly injection molded plastic. In a aGalaxy far far away I was a machinist. These aren't exactly difficult to manufacture items especially in this new age of Computer Controlled machinery. My mind is boggled at the pricing of several of these cases/cages to turn your phone into a camera or "cinema" device . Am I the only one that feels this way? Please let us know below. Grinding again

Good  afternoon all, inspiration hit once again and we've been dutifully busy grinding on coming up with a basic outline for our next video. We starting off with a vague idea and banging away at it . Too early to let you know where we going but at least wanted to let you know we working on a new concept. Hopefully start filming in September if we get all of the details and Budget straightened out.

Have a great weekend and thank goodness the #Heatwave here in #NYC seems to finally be dissipating. It's been making us VERY a lethargic and uninspired the last few weeks.

Apple AirDrop

Good evening everyone, well tonight is the very first time I've ever used Apple's AirDrop function. It's been there tantalizing me all along but my recent return to the iPhone in the form of the SE is what sent me over the edge and got me to try it. I shot some footage with the iPhone SE in 4K as well as a still to make a thumbnail and used AirDrop to transfer to my iPadPro. It worked sooooooo nicely and makes me wish I could use AirDrop on my Panasonic Camera's too. For some odd reason even Panasonic's app for the iPad can't wirelessly transfer 4K footage which vexes me greatly. I used PlasQ's fabululous ComicLife software to make my thumbnail and edited the 4K footage in Pinnacle Studio Pro all on the iPadPro then uploaded to YouTube directly from the iPadPro. All in all, I'm very happy with my iPhone SE and iPadPro combo.

Amazon vs YouTube

Good morning everyone, been collecting data for a while now on my #Amazon video account vs my #YouTube channels. The results are blowing my mind. The month of July the dozen or so videos I have on Amzon outperformed the 300+ videos I have on YouTube. Let that sink in for a moment. Yes Amazon is much stricter on content and requires subtitle files but it seems that at least for me Amazon is a better fit. I even have one video on Amazon that is exclusively on Amazon. I'd planned to keep it exclusive for 2 months. I'm thinking that I may keep it exclusive to Amazon. It's more of a long form video than most of my others. I'd LOVE to get on Netflix, Hulu, Google Play , iTunes and Vudu etc but one summit at a time. I've got the majority of my videos on Amazon set to watch #Free via #Prime or ad supported. Unfortunately ad supported is only for folks in the US right now. A few you can purchase or rent. Here's a list of some of our stuff on Amazon if you are interested. Not all #MetroPCS stores created equal, one in #Astoria told my partner the phone I got her was NOT compatable turned it on voice only , Scumbag liar, I took phone and turned Data on in under 5 minutes. Counter of this, the People in #Gravesend / #Bensonhurst on 65th st and Bay Parkway #MetroPCS sold me a #iPhone SE yesterday all good THEN said let me check something we have a new promotion. They dropped my bill from $190 a month to $135 a month with no change to my service. THAT is the way to do business not shady bullshit to try and sell your phone to a customer like douche in #Astoria
