It's been four and a half years since Zedd released his sophomore album, True Colors, but fans may finally have another effort to look forward to. The German DJ/producer hinted at a 2020 album in a recent social media exchange.
"Its been five years since your last album Zedd," a fan tweeted on December 15th. "Please stop playing." In response, Zedd (real name Anton Zaslavski) quoted the tweet and simply wrote "2020."
Zaslavski rose to fame in the years leading up to his 2012 album Clarity, with songs like its title track and "Spectrum" making him a household name while the EDM boom was in full swing. True Colors came out in 2015 and saw him collaborate with the likes of Selena Gomez, Jon Bellion and Logic.
No title, release date or any other information has been announced for Zaslavski's 2020 album at the time of writing. He will perform next at Big Night Live in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, December 27th.
