Modified Sigma 30mm Art Lens on the Sony A7 in Full Frame after modifying the lens by removing the plastic baffle from the rear of the lens. 3 tiny screws, turn the lens over it and it will usually will fall out into your hand. I really only recommend doing this mod for Video, for Stills you'll get a more pronounced Vignette. We start the video with the lens stopped down to F8 then we show it opened all the way up to it's maximum aperture of F2.8
, don't bother doing this mod to a zoom it will have little to no effect.I've done this to 3 APS-C E Mount Prime's with varying success, the wider the lens the less successful. I've done the Sony 16mm F2.8 and the Sigma 60mm F2.8 Art lens as well as this one of course. I hope you found this information useful.
