Anton Bauer also announced a firmware update for the Performance Quad Charger with two interesting new features. The first allows you to discharge your batteries to a preset power percentage that is in accordance with global transport regulations (30%). The second analyzes your batteries' health and indicates with a check mark which one you should use, which allows your batteries to age at the same rate.
These new Anton Bauer cine series batteries deliver a constant 12 amp current, which is 20% more than normal batteries, according to Anton Bauer rep Andrew Butler. They're available in V and Gold mount and come in two sizes: 90W-hour and 150W-hour.
