The IFP Project Forum is a significant opportunity for unknown filmmakers to get their work seen as part of Independent Film Week, the only international co-production market for film in the United States. If your work-in-progress is one of the approximately 150 films selected for the forum, you will have the opportunity to meet with and pitch directly to influential parties, from financiers to programmers.
Plus, you could be joining a venerable list of filmmakers and films that have benefitted from the program, including Benh Zeitlin’s Beasts of the Southern Wild, Miranda July’s Me and You and Everyone We Know, Gillian Robepierre’s Obvious Child, and our very own Ryan Koo's Amateur.
Applications for narrative films are open now and applications for documentary films open on April 8. Deadlines for both fall throughout May. All applications require both an application and IFP membership fee of $45 (Early Deadline); $60 (Late Deadline).
