Tascam DR22WL and iPadOS 13

Sooooooo, yep under #IpadOS13 I plug this into #iPad via USB3 to Lightning adapter, pops up on the #Tascam #DR22WL screen asking “Bus Power” or “Storage” I hit storage and lo and behold a new device appears in the Files app called DR22WL. Even tho this unit has Bluetooth transfer built in no need to bother with that anymore as you can power and transfer data from it to #iPad easily!!!

Modal Skulpt and IK Multimedia Uno Drum a potent pair

Modal Skulpt and IK Multimedia Uno Drum a potent pair to jam with run straight into my Tascam DR-22WL digital recorder. Thanks to iPadOS 13 I simply plugged the MicroSD card into a card reader attached to Apple’s USB3 to Lightning adapter and copied the audio file over. Gotta love the TINY Size of the Uno Drum and Modal Skulpt devices. Great for a quick tabletop jam. Please consider subscribing and giving us a thumbs up it helps a lot. Thanks for watching.

Modal Skulpt Tiny Powerful Synth

The #Modal #Skulpt sounds GREAT but having to set MIDI filtering messages via app is a bit of a PITA. Drove me crazy why no notes were playing. The previous owner must have set to filter them out. If using USB MIDI it worked fine. Other than that minor issue it’s a winner. If Modal drops price a bit Korg will have a BIG little competitor as it has MIDI in and out as well as USB MIDI, sync in and out, decent sized knobs, 4 voices and ability to #polychain 4 Skulpt’s together without requiring any special cabling.

Shareable Artist Links

Thanks to the folks at SongWhip , links for all venues that my music is available on is now easily shareable. Thanks to all you lovely folks listening to my #Music we are QUICKLY approaching the 200,000 stream mark which I’d hoped to hit before 2020 and that looks like it will happen well ahead of the New Year! Perhaps as soon as mid October. YAY!!!!

IK Multimedia Uno Duo Drum and Synth

IK Multimedia Uno Duo Drum and Synth having some fun with these 2 power house machines. Was going to use Song Mode but since this was quick and dirty I just manually changed from Pattern to Pattern. Pardon the Lower resolution as I left my other camera gear with one of my Synth’s at a friends house. Check out Kwekwe Karu on Spotify , Apple Music, Youtube etc

The Donegal Jig

The Donegal Jig an old Traditional Irish tune reimagined in Apple Garageband on iPadPro. I used the Erhu instead of a Fiddle for example.,
