Now that I have the right L-Rod’s things looking better. Still awaiting a section of Cymbal mount and using the Roland PD-8 for hi hat at moment. Still have a DM6 Snare I could use as a Fourth Tom since I got a Mesh Snare. I’ve got 2 Pintech TC-10 Cymbal’s, 3 DM6 Tom’s a DM6 Snare, a Nitro Mesh Snare, DMHat Hi Hat pedal and a Simmons Kick Pedal That fires down onto a small pad. Yes the PD-8 and Nitro Mesh Snare are sharing 1 L-Rod in the photo. Not pictured is a Alesis Nitro DM7X Drum Module and the second Pintech Cymbal n mount. DIY 60 Cent NOT L Rods for Electronic Drums
DIY 60 Cent NOT L Rods for Electronic Drums someone asked if the wood dowels would snap and so I decided to do this video to show if 3/8” wooden dowels would survive. I’m not really a drummer so some of you may hit like THOR!!!! but I am not exactly dainty and whack on them pretty good. only the 2 Tom’s are using these DIY rods. Please give us a thumbs up if you enjoyed this and subscribe. Thanks for watching.
I can’t imagine folks needing a tutorial on wrapping the dowels but if you would leave comments below.

Funky Groove created in XDrummer and Garageband
Funky Groove created in XDrummer and Garageband I love that I can record XDrummer into Garageband as well as the fact that I can control the drums in both with my Alesis Electronic Drum set. Didn’t realize till after I’d Recorded this that I could export my playing in XDrummer as a MIDI file tho which will be a big help as well. Please Subscribe and give us a thumbs up. Should you convert an old Electronic Drum pad to a Mesh Head?
Should you convert an old Electronic Drum pad to a Mesh Head? Rubber pads to Mesh pads on an older Electronic Drum pad can be done but should it is the question I hope to help you with.
Alesis Nitro and Apple iPadPro
Ok folks, as you noticed I’ve been messing with #Alesis Nitro DM7X and Electronic Drum Pads hooked to my #iPadPro. I’m able to play the Acoustic Drum sets in #Garageband. Synth sounds in #AudioKit FM Player. I had issues with the Percussion sounds like #Bongo and #Conga in Garageband. They ARE triggerable too. Happy to say that they simply map to higher #MIDI notes than the Acoustic Drums.
Here’s the list of MIDI Notes for you folks.
———-
Cowbell - 56
Bongo - 60-61
Conga - 62-66
Maracas - 68-69
Blocks/Claves- 75
Triangle - 80-81

Alesis Nitro DM7X Drum Module to iPadPro
Now that I realized that setting the #Alesis #Nitro #DM7X module to #MIDI mode it disables the trigger buttons on the module I got #EZDrummer2 to work with it. That’s great but what’s even more AWESOME to me is that if I plug the USB from the Module into the #Apple USB3 to Lightning Adapter then into my #iPadPro it will trigger the sounds in #Garageband, #Cubasis etc etc . Am I happy oh you bet your sweet bippy I am!!!!
