Flume Slides into Rihanna's DMs During Interview Hoping to Collab

Flume DMed Rihanna during a recent interview hoping to get her to collaborate with him.

A seemingly routine interview question directed at Flume might have just sparked the next high-profile EDM collaboration.

When speaking on his collaboration process with The Sydney Morning Herald, Flume (real name Harley Streten) revealed that he'd love to work with Frank Ocean or Rihanna, and even took things a step further by sliding into the latter's DMs during the interview. “I’d love to work with Rihanna — I’ll DM her right now,” he said.

Streten has a number of major collaborations under his belt as he's worked with artists like Tove Lo, Beck, Pusha T, and more over the course of his career. Early next year, he'll look to take home his second Grammy Award, as his album Hi This Is Flume was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, the same award he won back in 2017 for his album Skin.

At the time of writing, it has not yet been revealed if Rihanna has replied to Flume's messages hoping to collaborate.
