Mad Scientist mode, trying to figure way to trigger this #Alesis High Hat pedal to use as a Kick Drum Trigger. I think the wood block too tough tho. Dug thru my drawer and found a nice rubber eraser. Going to attach with tape to test. Crossing fingers. Video to follow if all goes well. Also looking at replacing a part up front with rubber block.
