These days it seems like the only movies that get made anymore are the giant action blockbusters, and the small dramas designed to win awards. Sicario was one of the few films that seem to exist between the two factions. It was a film with a moderate budget and major name stars that was able to appeal to both the action movie crowd, as well as the awards shows.
