First Look at the Superlux HD681 Headphones

First Look at the Superlux HD681 Headphones , I grabbed these headphones after reading alot of messages on Reddit's Headphones group which mostly praised these as good sounding budget headphones with a semi open back to give a larger soundstage. I picked these up on Amazon for $31 , they came in a nice drawstring bag tho I did TRY to find a hard case for them but that proved to be futile as any case I found that seemed large enough to fit them cost as much as the headphones did. There's a newer version called the HD681 EVO but I likely won't be needing any headphones for a while. I've been told the HD681's with Velour cup covers are even more comfortable so I did splurge the $7.98 for Velour covers but they haven't arrived as yet. I think these sound quite good, fairly good for the Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass and Zydeco I listen to. for the price I think they are well worth it and I thank the Reddit folks for recommending them to me. At some point I'll try them for gaming as well but as of this point haven't done so., Please consider a modest donation if you like our videos it will be greatly appreciated as well as Subscribe and slap the Like button. Pricing weirdness

Seems several camera prices jumped drastically recently. The Panasonic LX-100 and G7 among them. I wonder if this will effect the release price of the Sony A6300.

Gifts from Rode for the My Rode Reel 2015 contest

Gifts from Rode for the My Rode Reel 2015 contest. We switched up what we were going to show today as we just received our gifts from Rode Microphones for entering their 2015 My Rode Reel Contest. Rode is VERY generous to us in the Indie Filmmaking community offering essentially a Film Festival with NO ENTRY FEE other than having to use one of their mics in the making of the short film. Last year was a 3 minute limit on your short film. Details should be coming soon for the 2016 My Rode Reel. This was shot on a 4K camera and editied on a 2011 Mac Mini. We will soon show off what we are shooting with now. Please subscribe and give us a thumbs up.

My Gifts for Entering the My Rode Reel 2015 Contest

Today I got the gifts for entering the 2015 My Rode Reel contest, I received a lovely Rode T Shirt, an SC8 extension cable, a VideoMicro microphone and a Carbon Fibre Boom pole. The folks at Rode Microphones are very generous in their support of Indie filmmakers with their no entry fee yearly contest which grows each year. Lots of fine work that lots of people get to see. Entries for the 2016 My Rode Reel contest will be open in the next few weeks I believe. Good Luck, I can't wait to see YOURS!

Panasonic TZ100

Panasonic TZ100 20 megapixel stills and shoots 4K video internally with 5 axis IBIS and 10X zoom Leica lens this could be fun little toy. 1" sensor like the Sony RX100 IV . I hear the EVF and screen aren't nearly as nice as the Sony tho and the max aperture not as good either but lower price point than RX100 so kind of expected. I don't think I'll regret getting the Panasonic LX100 for in studio product reviews for Youtube versus the TZ100 but sounds like a promising pocket camera.

Call of Duty®: Black Ops III Skyjacked First Look

Call of Duty:Black Ops III Skyjacked First Look from the new Awakening DLC pack. Very reminiscent of the Yacht from Black Ops II except in the future Yachts will be in the air it seems not sailing the ocean blue. I'm using the Astro MixAmp with the Skullcandy Uprock headset with reverted firmware to clean up the mic input a bit.

Tamron 90mm F2.5 Macro Lens on Sony A7

Tamron 90mm F2.5 Macro Lens on Sony A7 today we take another foray into the Vintage Vault. This time with an old Tamron F2.5 Macro lens for the Minolta Maxxum 35mm Film Camera so we have to use the trusty Sony LA-EA4 A mount to E/FE mount adaqpter. . I'm so glad I listened to Jason Lanier when I saw him mention how well the LA-EA4 works in one of his videos, I've since amassed a fairly large collection of Minolta Maxxum Mount and Sony A mount lenses to use on my A7.... inexpensively! I've amaassed 9 or 10 A mount lenses and the adapter for LESS than the price of the Sony 90mm FE mount lens or 24-240mm alone. Of course there are tradeoff's like a maximum aperture of F3.5 in Autofocus mode when shooting Video but it's NOT the end of the world. Try it, you may LOVE it , you're wallet will certainly be thankful :-) have a great day, thanks for watching please give us a thumbs up and subscribe if you aren't already a subscriber.
